Panel 1

On a keynote stage, Samuel stands sombrely beside a tall draped object behind hazard tape.

Samuel: “Our new model is too dangerous to release.”

He is grave and entirely serious.

Panel 2

The audience erupts. Cameras flash, an investor faints with delight, and a line on the screen shoots straight up.

Token, in the front row, does not cheer.

Panel 3

Token raises a hand politely.

Token: “So nobody gets it?”

Token is relieved.

Panel 4

The drape is gone. The object is a hazard-striped pricing sign behind a red velvet rope: APOCALYPSE TIER, $1,000/mo. A long queue of people in identical hazmat suits snakes out of the hall.

Samuel stands beside the sign, unchanged. Token's hand is still raised.
